Auditors, controlls, certification and trainings

The controls are carried out in all Asian production sites twice a year. In the supply chain, we control each quarry, where the raw material is degraded, twice a year and similarly each processing plant. If the natural stones are processed in several factories (for example, machine processing and hand cut processing), all these factories, from which the licensee obtains its natural stones, need to be controlled. One of these inspections per year must take place unannounced.

Certification

No later than a fourteen days after conducting the audit the report shall be submitted by the auditor to the XertifiX office in Hannover. The report data is read into the XertifiX database and a summary of the report is created. Based on the audit reports the XertifiX office decides
