We strongly advise against working with the company

Stones & Rocks

In 2023, Stones & Rocks contacted XertifiX. It was about checking a supply chain in South India for a project in Frankfurt. XertifiX e.V. and Stones & Rocks then concluded a standard license agreement. XertifiX then carried out audits in South India in 2023 on behalf of the company “S&R Stones and Rocks Europe GmbH”. The license and audit fees incurred were also paid by Stones & Rocks. So far, everything was normal.

In the course of 2024, emails from XertifiX e.V. were no longer answered. Contacting Stones & Rocks by phone also brought no progress. Towards the end of the year, we were informed by phone that there was no business relationship at all between XertifiX and Stones & Rocks. As expected, this caused great astonishment in our association. When we asked, we were then told the following:

“I sold S&R Stones and Rocks Europe GmbH in the spring to a businessman from Hamburg. He renamed it Ullstein Handelskontor GmbH.

Stones & Rocks Europe GmbH, which I now manage; HR number 793569 B AG Stuttgart, has never concluded any contracts with Xertifix. Unfortunately, I cannot give you any further information.”

The outstanding invoice was not paid. We were in contact with Mr. Viscusi and his father, Mr. Viscusi.

We therefore strongly advise against doing business with Stones & Rocks: in our experience, you cannot be sure that the company will not be sold again and reopened under a similar name. We also very much hope that Stones & Rocks does not have any liabilities to other companies, especially in India, that have not been or will not be paid.

We feel obliged to warn other companies, cities and municipalities.
