Thomas Steins is deputy chairman of the NGO Xertifix e.V.
The joint effort against child labor and instead for compliance with the ILO core labor standards and relevant environmental standards is a matter close to his heart.

In his professional life, Thomas Steins is involved as a strategy consultant for regenerative economics along the supply chain, advises on successful ESG transformation of organizations in the context of ecological and social sustainability, and manages ventures on natural climate protection and circular economy.

As a serial entrepreneur, Thomas was, among other things, a founding partner of a consulting firm for works councils and social partners and co-founder and managing director of a climate tech startup for measuring and rewarding CO2 reductions via app.

As a former scholarship holder of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and values ​​ambassador of the NGO GermanDream, Thomas is committed to the liberal-democratic values ​​of our constitution and the appreciation of diversity in our society.

Thomas holds a Master of Arts in Communication Science, Political Science and Business Administration from the Free University of Berlin, with a semester abroad at the Latvian Academy of Culture in Riga. Before becoming a consultant, he worked as a journalist and in federal and European politics.
