The association XertifiX Sozialprojekte e.V. was founded on September 27th, 2013.

The association is based at: Otto-Brenner-Str. 1, 30159 Hannover.

We are available for you daily from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

As a former President of the Building + Woodworker Internationale (BWI), I also had to personally experience the unacceptable working conditions of our colleagues in the building materials industry worldwide. This applies in particular to the workers in the asbestos pits in Russia and the natural stone (granite) quarries in China and India. This work is unacceptable for adults under the miserable, often non-existent protection conditions. For children, this exploitation always ends in early disability and death.

XertifiX stands for the respect of the main working standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) in the problematic sector of natural stone extraction and processing. That is why, as a former board member of the ILO, it is an honor for me to be able to support this impressive NGO as chairman of the board of trustees.
